B-Shift: Garage off on Alpine Dr

On Tuesday June 9th at 10:03 the B Shift was alerted to 13 Alpine Dr for a structure fire. Telesqurt 3290 (South) arrived within 4 minutes of dispatch to the homeowner flaggin the crew down and heavy smoke showing from a detached garage. 3290 dropped the 5" and laid in. The crew led off with an 1.75", while the driver laddered the building and began opening up on the exterior. Crews got a fast knock on the fire due to a rapid response. Engine 82 (Local 4306) assisted with overhaul and Engine 41 handled the RIT.

B-Shift: One Trapped on Woodville Rd

After catching a fire earlier in the shift the B shift was dispatched at 1700 for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment at Woodville Rd and Sweetmans Lane. While en route additional information was received reporting the call in Manalapan and one person heavily entrapped. Engine 3275 arrived pulled a protection line, stabilized the vehicle, and placed the cutters in service to start on a roof removal. Rescue 3285 arrived and additional tools were placed in service to complete a roof removal and spread the the doors on the drivers side due to the heavy intrusion. A ram was utilized to further push the driver side B post of the driver. The crew assisted EMS with getting a ked on the patient and removed onto a backboard. The patient was transported by Medevac to an area hospital. The boys cleared the scene and took in an activated fire alarm on East Pine Branch.

B-Shift: Building Fire in Manalapan

On April 28th at 0952 the B shift was alerted to respond with surrounding companies for a confirmed fire at the Olde Silver Tavern on Freehold Road in Manalapan. Telesqurt 3290 arrived and the crew was split with Lt South going to the interior for operations, and the driver (Maloney) and nozzleman (Glover) going to the roof. After making the roof command advised to hold off on the cut, and the crew was re-assigned to division 1 for overhaul and extinguishment. Crews worked for approximately an hour before being released.

B-Shift: Bus vs Winnebago

At 16:26 the B Shift was alerted to the intersection of Millstone Road and Stagecoach Road for a Motor Vehicle Accident. Arriving with in one minute of dispatch Engine 3275 (South) found a two vehicle accident involving a school bus and a Winnebago. Firefighters assessed the occupants involved, finding a female with minor injuries in the Winnebago. This occupant was turned over to the Millstone First Aid Squad for further treatment; however the occupant declined transport to a hospital. 3275 provided traffic control and removed debris from the roadway.

A-Shift: Overturned Auto

At 1304 the station was alerted to respond to the intersection of Baird Rd & Perrineville Rd for an overturned auto. While Engine 3275 and Rescue 3285 were responding, 32-1-70 arrived and confirmed and overturned auto with all occupants out of their vehicles. Upon our arrival patient care was started for two BLS patients while awaiting an ambulance.

B-Shift: Car vs Tree

The B shift was alerted at 1357 for a car vs tree. The engine and rescue arrived to confirm that same with the driver out of the vehicle, injured. The crew provided patient care until the arrival of Monoc BLS. The crew stood by until the vehicle was removed by a wrecker.

A-Shift: Small Fire on Roberts Rd

At 0832 members of the A shift were alerted to respond to Roberts Road for a house fire with possible entrapment. Units arrived to find the fire out and a victim already removed by police. Crews checked for extension and ventilated.
